It’s a mostly cosmetic beauty treatment for your fingernails and hands. It usually consists of filing and shaping the free edge of your nails, softening, pushing and clipping (with a cuticle pusher and cuticle clipper) any hard skin, treatments with massage of the hand, and the application of polish at the end.

A pedicure is a comprehensive treatment of your feed. It involves cutting, trimming and shaping your toenails, tending to your cuticles, exfoliating, hydrating and massaging your feet, and, if desired, painting your toenails with polish.
